A New Year

In two days we will celebrate the coming of a new year. What will 2011 bring for us? What changes will we make to improve our lives and the lives of those around us? Who will we spend our time with and how will we make that time count?
At new years my wife and I often resolve not to make "new year's resolutions" but to continue to increase our daily resolve to do a little better and improve a bit at time, one day at a time. For what does your resolution mean without daily resolving to follow through with that resolve which makes our country great? What worth is a resolution for the new year if your day to day life remains unchanged?
None of us know what the new year brings. The future is a mystery which can only be uncovered as we live each day in the best way that we can and in a manner that will improve our tomorrow. Will our weakened economy finally collapse? Will our government right itself? Or will it continue the uncontrollable downward spiral until we are a bankrupt, bereft, godless and destitute nation?
Let us all live each day so that we can say that we were part of the solution and not the problem. So that we can proudly answer that WE did what was right in the face of opposition! The WE stood on the side of right and good and did our best to teach our children good moral values and respect for each other and for God! For all of the rest, anything else is really Irrelevant!
